Woman Who Achieves Solopreneur Awards 2023 Finalist!

Haus of HR Founder makes it on the shortlist

The Founder of Haus of HR, Rachel Collar, received the surprise of a lifetime when she discovered her name among the finalists for the prestigious Woman Who Achieves Solopreneur Awards 2023.

A Journey of Transformation and Resilience

This remarkable journey began two years ago when a life-altering event reshaped Rachel’s perspective on life. A heart attack suffered by her husband on the eve of their first wedding anniversary served as a profound wake-up call. This moment of reckoning prompted Rachel to make a daring decision: to bid farewell to her thriving corporate HR career spanning more than two decades and embark on a new path as the owner of an HR and leadership coaching consultancy.

The Birth of Haus of HR: Where Passion Meets Purpose

The inception of Haus of HR and subsequently Haus of Coaching allowed Rachel to continue pursuing her deep-seated passion for HR and people development while remaining true to her core values. Her mission has always been to infuse joy and happiness into the often-serious realm of HR, and she has been accompanied on this journey by her steadfast Chief Happiness Officer, her rescue cat Buddy.

A Test of Resilience and Adaptability

This journey has not been without its challenges. Rachel bravely left behind the corporate world to forge a new path, simultaneously cherishing the meaningful relationships and experiences that have shaped her life. Being named a finalist in the Woman Who Achieves Solopreneur Awards is a well-deserved recognition of all she has accomplished in the past two years. She extends her heartfelt gratitude to Mr. C, her family, friends, the incredible team at Haus of HR, former colleagues, valued clients, trusted partners, suppliers, and the new friends – both personal and professional – who have supported her throughout this journey.

Countdown to Celebration

The countdown has officially begun! Rachel is gearing up for her award interview and even more importantly, she’s deliberating on her outfit choice for the awards lunch on 5 October at Draycote Hotel. She eagerly anticipates the chance to celebrate alongside other outstanding women in business the inspirational Sandra Garlick, MBE.
